Megan Ismay is one of the U.K.’s newest fashion brands and with their elegant cuts, sustainable threads, and eco ethos they are certain to make a splash. After years of honing her craft, working as Head Fashion Designer and gaining experience from several distinct brands Megan felt the time had come to make fashion better. Combining her technical knowhow with her passion for sustainability Megan enrolled in the acclaimed Fashion and Sustainability course offered by London’s College of Fashion, which provided the final push to launch her own brand. 

It is always an honour to feature brands and individuals striving to make the world a better place through sustainable practices; however, it is a special privilege to feature a label’s first collection. And for those who are serious about supporting ethical business practices this is a unique and especially impactful opportunity as the success of a first collection is critical.

Megan Ismay’s debut combines both sophisticated classic pieces as well as fresh contemporary items that showcase a patchwork design that may just become an iconic brand signature. The entire collection is eco-friendly, making use of organic bamboo, recycled denim, polyester sourced from recycled plastic bottles, and limited edition pieces made from factory offcuts. Presently, all pieces are ethically made in the U.K and in the future MI plans to further incorporate innovative fabrics and work directly with Fairtrade factories. Furthermore, MI ensures that all packaging is made from recycled material and through their partnership with a non-profit they plant a tree for each order made. With a competitive price point and elegant design Megan is well on her way to realizing her dream of bringing stylish sustainable clothing to the mainstream.
