Hi there! I'm Rugile, founder of Make Fashion Better and my goal is to forward the sustainable and the ethical through the fashionable.

My journey to 'make fashion better' began in 2016 while working with the Lithuanian designer Julia Janus, whose bold philosophy sought to break the confines of convention by creating accessible and ageless body-positive collections for both men and women. And it was this ability to blend aesthetics with ethics that set me on a journey to find ways to inform and inspire through fashion.

Little did I know the path would extend straight across Europe to the south Spain where I worked with several slow fashion brands and helped them implement international communication strategies. Then it was London's College of Fashion, where I earned a certificate of achievement on Fashion and Sustainability. Collectively, these experiences have inspired me to create Make Fashion Better as a platform that unites and promotes those who are weaving meaning into form and sustainability into style.
